After choosing a DINING OPTION and once into the planning phase with one of our Event Co-ordinators, a meeting will be arranged with Pont de Val's Executive Chef Shan-Marie McGann who will create a suitable menu and confirm the serving style (plated or buffet) for your function.

Drinks work on either a Cash Bar or Tab basis, or a combination of both.

Venue Hire Times:

The venue is available for hire from 10h00 to 22h00. To hire the venue past 22h00 a fee of R2500 per hour is applicable. Pont de Val is not available for hire further than 00h00 under any conditions.

  1. Prices include VAT.
  2. To secure a booking payment for the venue hire is required within 5 working days from receipt of final quote.
  3. Only upon proof of payment of the venue hire can the booking be secured.
  4. If the event is canceled 60 days prior to the date you will be refunded 50% of the first payment.
  5. Rescheduling after the venue hire payment is possible up to 7 days prior but is subject to availability, and a 25% of venue hire amount will be charged extra.
  6. Remaining balance (Catering, drinks tab and extras) is payable 21 days prior to the event, if this is not met, the booking will be forfeited.
  7. Bookings can only be made up until 31 December of the following year.
  8. Prices are subject to change without prior notice.
  9. All event details are to be finalized & confirmed 21 days prior to the event. Changes to the details hereafter may require additional charges.
  10. A corkage fee of R100 applies to each bottle of wine or Champagne brought onto premises, no other beverages may be brought onto the premises.
